Remota was born out of the need to help teams manage the full lifecycle of their IT assets with the rise of the distributed workforce. During and post pandemic, HR and IT teams were faced with tough logistical challenges to furnish new employees with their laptops, help remote teammates fix or replace laptops, retrieve equipment from departing employees and then figure out what to do with their used assets.

Remota makes it easy for you by handling all the logistics from procurement to retirement, so you can focus on your priorities, reduce costs and save time.

Remota is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northbay Networks, Inc., an IT logistics company that has been in business successfully since 2000. Formally established in 2022, Remota is backed by two decades of experience with a mission to power remote and distributed workforces easily and securely.

What size companies do you support?

Our customers range from large global enterprises to medium size companies. While we love helping our customers with all different types of needs, we specialize in helping high growth startups scale fast. We are not the best fit for small businesses (less than 50 employees) or sole proprietors, but would be happy to refer you to someone who is.

What is your pricing structure?

Most of our customers engage with us on an annual contractual basis to get the best pricing, which is based on volume. Some customers use us for distinct projects such as a hiring spree or large scale hardware replacements or refreshes.

How do I know my assets are safe?

We have an insured state-the-art facility where your assets are carefully staged, stored and managed with detailed tracking.

How do I keep track of the assets you are managing for my company?

We maintain detailed tracking and reporting of your managed assets. We can provide real-time visibility or set up a reporting cadence that works best for your needs.
